Marble Hill Playcentres is a voluntary organisation and registered charity in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We offer an affordable and exciting play facilities for children in their local community.
In the past schools have booked out the Playcentres for Year 6 celebration trips or for Year 3/4/5/6 children who are unable to attend residential trips. Children get to experience outdoor activities in a non-competitive and adventurous, free play environment. Our play workers are fully trained to support and engage the children with the play facilities.
The trip can be funded using your Sports Premium Grant (Key Indicator 1- the engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity – kick-starting healthy active lifestyles and Key indicator 4- broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils) All children that attend will receive one free entry to the Adventure Playground for future use. Reviews from users:
“Y6 attended the Marble Hill Playcentre at the end of the summer term after their Statutory Assessment Tests. The children had an extremely enjoyable morning releasing lots of energy on the equipment which allowed them to test their strength and conquer some fears in a safe and enjoyable fashion. The area was well-staffed and they were extremely helpful, interacting with the children and encouraging them to take turns and share the equipment responsibly.
